This course equips you to navigate safely on coastal and offshore passages. It allows time for revision of the basics and then moves on to advanced navigation techniques.
The course will take your theory knowledge to the standard required for Coastal Skipper /Yachtmaster Offshore practical exams, concentrating on advanced navigation and meteorology skills.
The course is taught over 40 hours with three exam papers. It can be covered as a series of evening classes or as an intensive course over 3 weekends.
A comprehensive course pack is included, as well as two exercise charts, course handbook and exercises, we also provide free of charge a full size course plotter, brass dividers and the RYA almanac, saving you £25 if purchased separately.
For a little extra ‘ONE to ONE’ TUITION is also available, you’ll get tuition tailored to your needs, so your course can either be completed quickly or over a more relaxed period as your schedule allows.
….and finally, to help with home study and revision you have access to our on-line training resource containing over 60 training presentations.
All necessary training aids including chart, plotter, dividers, course handbook, RYA almanac and exercises.
